* Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging, practical and creative Food Technology lessons.
* Plan and deliver well-structured, motivating lessons that inspire student progress and confidence.
* Assess, track and monitor student achievement, providing feedback that supports ongoing development.
* Help shape and refine schemes of learning as part of a supportive and collaborative DT faculty.
* Maintain high expectations and ensure all practical activities follow safe working practices.
* Create a positive, inclusive and purposeful learning environment for all students.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the right to work in the UK.
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Experience teaching Food Technology or Food Preparation and Nutrition at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
* An organised, reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement.
* A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning and maintaining high standards.
