* Salary: 40777 per annum (pro rata if part time)
* Hours: 37 per week, flexible working options available
* Contract: Permanent

Your role and responsibilities

This role will see you working within the waste team to improve waste and recycling services, increase customer satisfaction and improve environmental outcomes. Projects will include raising awareness about waste reduction and recycling services and opportunities through our social media platforms, face‑to‑face events and other communication, and researching and analysing data as well as planning, implementing and monitoring initiatives to move waste up the hierarchy and improve our services.

* Work closely with team members to develop and implement campaign strategies.
* Develop messages to Suffolk residents on how to manage their rubbish, encouraging them to reduce, reuse and recycle.
* Look at ways to improve our recycling and waste services for Suffolk residents.
* Work with the team to integrate new recycling service campaigns into our communication strategy.
* Manage our social media platforms and support campaigns such as the Food Savvy Campaign, recycling centre promotion, home composting and refill & repair initiatives.


You will need

* Experience and passion for creating content both digital and physical.
* Experience of communicating complex messages to a variety of audiences.
* Passion for recycling and a positive impact on our environment.
* Experience communicating a range of messages to various audiences.
