The successful candidate will be involved in ensuring compliance with all relevant Technical and CDM legislation, and that house types meet building regulations and warranty requirements. Key responsibilities include preparing architectural drawings, monitoring development progress, liaising with specialists, and managing various planning and building regulation submissions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Produce title overlays, site plans, and other architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Photoshop.
* Assist in planning applications, liaising with authorities, and obtaining necessary approvals and certificates.
* Manage consultants, suppliers, and external agencies involved in the development process.
* Coordinate legal plans, conveyance plans, and ensure compliance with building standards.
* Supervise junior team members and contribute to environmental and regulatory assessments.
* Attend site visits, ensure documentation is up-to-date, and support warranty and certification processes.
Qualifications
HND / Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Design.
Experience
Extensive architectural experience, particularly with house types, and a proven track record of obtaining Building Control approvals.
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong understanding of construction design, performance, and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Word, and Excel.
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations, Building Regulations, and sustainability standards.
* Excellent communication, motivation, and problem-solving skills.
