Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (Maternity Cover) based in Derby
15 months Fixed Term to cover Maternity - Full Time - 37 hours per week
Hybrid working - 2 days in Epworth House
Salary - £61,260
MHA has an exciting new opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join the Commercial Finance team in Derby, on a fixed term 15-month contract, covering maternity leave. Leading a team of three, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate management accounts each month, providing insightful variance analysis and commentary. You will take on aspects of the planning cycle, including the annual budget process for the organisation. You will uphold the integrity of the balance sheet ensuring balances are true and fair, particularly at year end for audit purposes.
The role is based in Derby city centre with two days a week in the office.

* A qualified Accountant with proven business partnering and commercial experience.
* Experience of leading and developing a team.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly analyse complex situations and data, identify key issues and solutions driving through to making tough, timely decisions.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Customer focused with the desire to build effective working relationships.
* Proven ability to work in cross functional teams.
* Be able to proactively challenge, influence and gain alignment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst delivering to a high standard.
