MOT Technician needed in Kilmarnock
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable MOT Technician to join our client’s well-established garage in Kilmarnock.
Salary & Benefits for the MOT Technician:
1. Basic salary up to £34,000
2. On-target earnings (OTE) of approximately £38,200
3. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
4. Saturdays on a rota, 8:30am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities for the MOT Technician:
10. Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements
11. Performing repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles
12. Accurately completing all relevant paperwork and test documentation
13. Delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction
Candidate Requirements for the MOT Technician Role:
14. NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
15. Valid MOT Testing Licence
16. Full UK Driving Licence
17. Previous experience in a similar role preferred
18. High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
19. Strong team player with a customer-first mindset
