We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Secretary to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in various office management tasks, and have a customer-focused mindset. As a Senior Secretary, you will be responsible for managing referrals', handling correspondence, and assisting with various clerical duties.
Duties;
* Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Perform necessary medical coding.
* Process referrals to different health sectors.
* Compose letters using medical records templates.
* To have a thorough knowledge of all Surgery procedures.
* To work in accordance of written protocols
* Process incoming EMIS documents.
* Monitoring the Practice email
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience in referrals management is preferred.
* Use of 'EMIS' Medical system experience is essential to navigate daily operations effectively.
* Proficiency in medical terminology to respond effectively with work to do.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office management and workflow.
* Proven experience in an administrative role or as a secretary is required; prior experience as a dental or medical receptionist is a plus.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
* Strong typing skills and experience with clerical duties such as filing and data entry.
* Demonstrated time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
