Our client, an independent surfacing contractor, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team. The business delivers high-quality projects nationwide, working with clients across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK.
Role Description:
* The Sales Manager will drive organic business growth and strengthen relationships with existing key clients in the asphalt surfacing sector.
* Hands-on leadership role combining team management, strategic sales planning, and direct client engagement.
* Shaping commercial performance and coaching your team.
* Set, monitor, and deliver regional sales targets and KPIs
* Client visits and pipeline review
* Oversee tenders and bids.
* Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge
Key Skills Needed:
* Proven experience managing a high-performing sales team.
* Strong leadership and coaching ability.
* Organised and confident managing multiple priorities.
* Understanding of sales processes, bids, and tender management
