Role Overview
In simple terms, Chevron Traffic Management sets up temporary road closures, diversions and pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. The work is visible all over the country and involves consulting, planning, designing, estimating and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure schemes are fit for purpose. Key Responsibilities
* Support the Quantity Surveyor & Regional Commercial Manager in delivering and exceeding budgeted performance.
* Monitor and maintain data within the Company In House Works Management System.
* Support the Quantity Surveyor in ensuring timely and accurate billing of all work carried out within the region, ensuring client specified application/invoice dates are met.
* Timely responses to Client enquiries, communication falling in line with the company ethos.
* Tracking Change within NEC contracts and updating clients.
* Management of Subcontract and Agency timesheets and Invoicing.
* Assist the Quantity Surveyor & Regional Commercial Manager with Aged Debt, cash collection and escalation if needed.
* Help to prepare revenue reports to facilitate preparation and publication of monthly management accounts.
* Contribute to the overall management of commercial aspects of all contracts, including ensuring costs and revenue in correct periods.
Qualifications and Skills
* Good working knowledge of MS Office suite.
* Experience gained within similar Commercial Admin role.
* Confident to work with a IT/Digital system led solution to commercial management.
* Self‑motivated.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Positive “can‑do” attitude.
* Adaptability and flexibility.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Working knowledge of Temporary Traffic Management.
* Previous demonstrable experience in quantity surveying.
* Understanding of the NEC form of Contract.

Employment Details
Salary: Competitive, dependant on skills and experience. Location: Hybrid – commutable distance of Northampton. General hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility.
