We are recruiting a Payroll, Benefits and HR Operations Administrator to support our efforts to make the nuclear industry more diverse.
Role Purpose
Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll, Benefits and HR Operations Administrator to support efficient payroll, employee benefits, and HR services. Reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, the successful candidate will ensure accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR operations, maintaining security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in payroll processing and validation.
* Provide HR administrative support, including drafting employee letters and documentation.
* Support administration and enrollment of employee benefits like pensions and medical schemes.
* Assist with the Reward Scheme administration.
* Manage shared inboxes, respond to queries professionally, and escalate issues as needed.
* Update HRIS and employee records with high accuracy and confidentiality.
* Support audits by preparing documentation and ensuring data integrity.
* Contribute to projects and initiatives to meet team objectives.
What We Are Looking For
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (V-lookups, formulas).
* Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
* Accuracy in payroll processing and data maintenance.
* Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
* Good prioritization, multitasking, and deadline management skills.
* Proven administrative experience in similar roles.
* Strong communication skills, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance.

Pay and Benefits
Salary: £28,800 - £38,000 DOE plus:
* Bonus - On Target Performance Opportunity 7%
* Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum
* Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions
* Holidays - 28 days + public holidays, with buy/sell options
* Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover
* Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
* Home Office Purchase Payment - £250
