A dedicated and passionate Veterinary Surgeon is being sought to join a thriving and compassionate team at a stand-alone small animal practice in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. The practice is situated in Hucknall, just outside Nottingham, with excellent transport links while maintaining a relaxed, suburban atmosphere. The team comprises 3 experienced Vets, 4 supportive Nurses, and 4 friendly Receptionists, known for a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The Ideal Candidate
* A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with current RCVS registration
* Experienced in small animal first opinion practice in the UK
* Confident in both consultations and surgical procedures
* A surgical interest or certificate holder would be welcomed
* Potential opportunity for progression into a Lead Vet role for the right individual
* Full-time applicants are preferred, though part-time options can be discussed
* Weekend rota participation (either 1:3 or 1:4) with time off in lieu
* Excellent communication skills, with a passion for animal welfare and high standards of patient care
* Strong team player who can also work independently
