Drama Teacher – Secondary School (Maidstone, Kent)
Contract: Until April Half TermHours: Part-time, rotating 2-week timetable
* Week 1: Wednesday & Thursday
* Week 2: Wednesday to FridaySalary: Dependent on experience
A welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Maidstone is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts department on a temporary basis until the April half term. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach Drama across Key Stages in line with the national curriculum
* Plan and deliver dynamic, creative, and inclusive lessons
* Assess, track, and report on student progress
* Support the wider Performing Arts programme where needed
* Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Drama at secondary level
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to adapt to a rotating timetable
* Enhanced DBS required (support available if needed)
