An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Negligence Fee Earner / Paralegal to join a well-established and growing law firm based in Blackburn.
This role will involve working closely with the Head of Department, providing key support on a varied and often complex caseload of medical negligence matters. The successful candidate will play an integral part in progressing cases efficiently while maintaining a high standard of client care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting the Head of Department with a caseload of medical negligence claims
* Managing your own caseload where appropriate
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Liaising with clients, medical experts, and third parties
* Supporting case progression from initial instruction through to resolution
* Ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and deadlines
Requirements
* Previous experience as a fee earner or paralegal within medical negligence (essential)
* Proven ability to manage or assist with a caseload
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and client care abilities
* A proactive and team-oriented approach
