Responsibilities
* Raise purchase orders and accurately process supplier and project invoices
* Manage subcontractor applications, valuations, retentions, and payment support
* Complete supplier statement reconciliations and resolve invoice queries
* Support payment runs, credit card processing, and month-end finance tasks
* Monitor finance and applications mailboxes, ensuring timely responses to queries
* Maintain accurate digital records, approvals, and audit trails
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, and senior management
* Assist with improving finance processes, controls, and workflow efficiency
* Provide guidance and support to junior finance or accounts colleagues where required
Requirements
* Previous experience in accounts administration, purchase ledger, or finance administration
* Experience within construction, engineering, or building services is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of invoice matching, reconciliations, and payment processes
* Experience handling subcontractor applications, project invoicing, or labour costing
* Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel; Construction Manager experience advantageous
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload, follow approvals, and resolve discrepancies effectively
