What is the job role?
Based in a social care setting (PILS Team @ Wilfred Spencer Centre and across the service, you would be part of a team providing administration support to Internally Provided Services.
This varied role would cover a range of front and back-office admin duties including administrative support tasks to help run the unit, dealing and resolving queries over the phone or face to face, working with various Council ICT systems, inputting data for reporting purposes, maintaining computerised and manual filing systems, retrieving information as requested, and ensuring that information is kept up to date, handling monies, note-taking.
The 35 hour post is worked over 5 days (Monday to Friday)

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for warm, positive and dedicated individuals to work in our Adult Social Care Internally Provided Services team, who can provide person centred support to adults and older people.
In return, we would need you to have excellent communication skills, be flexible, good ICT skills, be able to deal with a diverse range of people, be able to demonstrate sensitivity and empathy when dealing with difficult service users, manage conflicting priorities and own workloads.
Please note the salary advertised will be pro-rata to hours worked (35 hours per week).
