Key Responsibilities * Programming CNC lathes directly at the machine * Setting and operating 2 axis CNC turning machines * Producing one off and short run precision components * Working from detailed engineering drawings * Carrying out in process inspection using measuring equipment * Maintaining high standards of quality and precision * Working on components ranging from Ø25mm x 100mm up to Ø300mm x 3m in length (hoist lifting equipment and training provided) Experience & Skills Required * Proven, time-served experience programming CNC lathes * Ability to write CNC programs longhand at the machine with minimal supervision * Experience with Fanuc co...
