Associate Façade Engineer
Location: London, England, United Kingdom
Base pay range: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Experience: 10+ years
The Role
* Lead façade and structural design projects, taking ownership from inception to delivery.
* Produce and review structural and façade design calculations.
* Attend and chair client, design, and coordination meetings.
* Conduct site inspections, providing technical input and resolving on-site challenges.
* Manage project teams, ensuring technical excellence and on‑time delivery.
* Support business development, proposals, and client relationship management.
* Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvement initiatives within the business.
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years of experience in façade engineering with a solid understanding of structural principles.
* Confident leading client meetings and managing multidisciplinary teams.
* Skilled at balancing technical, commercial, and managerial responsibilities.
* Chartered or working towards Chartership (IStructE, CIBSE, ICE, or similar).
* Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, manufacturing, and installation methods.
