Protocol Education is working alongside mainstream and SEND schools throughout Bath and is looking to appoint Sport Graduates or individuals from Sport backgrounds to bring their skills and experience into an educational setting.
Role Details
Positions available: Various, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills
Hours: Full and Part-time available – Usually from 08:30 to 15:50, but can vary based on the role
Start date: September 2025
Transferable Skills
The skills, characteristics, and qualities developed through a career, studies, or playing sports—such as teamwork, determination, organisation, and motivation—are highly valuable in the education sector, especially when working with young people and in sporting environments.
Potential Roles
* Class Teacher – Qualifications required: QTS
* Sports Coach
* Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher – No formal qualifications needed, relevant experience working with young people required
* Youth Worker
Qualifications and Experience

* Previous experience in teaching, youth work, or working with young people
* Knowledge of safeguarding and first aid
* Understanding of the National Curriculum

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles later.
