About the Role: The New Product Design Engineer is responsible for leading design and development projects that enhance product performance and brand differentiation.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver packaging and product concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost.
* Lead design activities from prototyping to performance validation.
* Partner with sales and customers to translate requirements into deliverable concepts.
* Coordinate testing, analysis, and design reviews across product stages.
* Ensure technical documentation and PLM systems are accurately maintained.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a New Product Design Engineer, Product Designer, or Industrial Designer in packaging or dispensing systems.
Required Skills:
* Strong CAD skills using SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar tools.
* Knowledge of thermoplastics, injection moulding, and tooling design.
* Confident in leading DFM, DFA, FMEA, and validation activities (DVP&R).
* Comfortable working with customers and cross-functional teams across Europe.
Pay range and compensation package: £55,000 – £60,000 basic salary
