The role of Training Programme Director is to work with and support the Head of School in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions aligned to the NHS England mandate.
Professionally and managerially accountable to the Head of School, the Training Programme Director will focus upon improvement of learner supervision, assessment and experience, engagement of faculty, and ensuring effective educational outcomes now and in the future.
As the role evolves it will include whole workforce transformation and the development of multi‑professional links, supporting the Postgraduate Dean and working across the spectrum of health and, where relevant, social care to ensure education reflects changing service models and delivers an integrated workforce.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Head of School to lead the delivery of functions aligned to the NHS England mandate.
* Provide professional and managerial accountability to the Head of School.
* Improve learner supervision, assessment, experience and faculty engagement.
* Ensure effective educational outcomes now and in the future.
* Drive whole workforce transformation and develop multi‑professional links.
* Support the Postgraduate Dean and collaborate across health and social care to adapt education to evolving service models.
