SALES & MARKETING MANAGER (PRE-OPENING)
We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, energetic and value-led commercially driven individual to lead and oversee the Sales and Marketing department. You will own and optimise the product (think hospitality, experiences and community) whilst being responsible for the wider business strategy as the company fulfils its growth plans, revenue strategies and enters into a new location and markets.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work closely with the leadership team, acting as an Ambassador to drive new and existing business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be required to have excellent communication skills and build constructive and supportive relationships with your co-workers. Your input will be key to build and develop a culture of constant improvement, challenging the status-quo.
Being partly a customer-facing role, you may be working in public areas and excellent presentation will be essential, as well as your willingness to engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction.
* Directly Manage the Sales, Marketing, PR and Communications functions.
* Prepare and administerthe Sales & Marketing budget and executeprogrammes within limits as outlined in the business plan.
* Create & execute the Sales & Marketing plan together with the departments objectives.
* Work actively in Public Relations with PRand creativeagencies.
* Follow and bring in any reputable awards for the hotel, on an international and local level.
* Maintain awareness of current and future competitors' products, pricing and marketing programmes to be able to proactively respond to market conditions.
* Make sure that all Sales &Marketing functions such as Sales, PR,Digital,Marketing, are aligned according to the financial goals& in terms of quality, message and timing.
Sales Responsibility Function
* Direct and coordinate theMarketing activities needed for the sales, catering, and reservations teams to maximise revenues.
* Prioritise Sales&Marketing support according to prevailing and anticipated market conditions byallocating resources and funds against areas which will provide the hotel with the most efficient revenue performance.
* Actively identify, pursue and develop tailored sales strategies by engaging directly with ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), luxury travel agents, consortia, private concierges, and elite corporate accounts to maximise revenue opportunities.
* Take a proactive approach in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, actively selling the hotel and building strong relationships with key clients.
Budget Control & Owners Presentation/Reports
* Prepare - in conjunction with the General Manager - monthly/yearly Budget and forecasts.
* Provide monthly financial & performance updateson Owners'reportswith action plans.
Client Relations
* Select and manage PRandcreative agencies for the local and international market, according to the needs of the property. Brief the agencies about competitive analyses, key messages, positioning, marketing & communication programmes.
* Find strategic partners/hosts for the hotel that result in positive commercial outcomes and an increase in traffic to the hotel venues.
* Strategically work on a calendar for the full year that includes the press visit schedule to the hotel throughout the year.
* Attendance ofroadshowsor travel shows, secures media, showcasing the hotel's main USPs and highlighting the hotels competitive advantages, resulting in coverage and or relationship/network building.
* Choose local and international bloggers and influencers strategically to create the digital exposure at high momentum.
* Ensure all photography is up to date & refreshed resulting in driving traffic to the website.
Promotions
* Liaise withRooms andF&B to design and implement the marketing plans in coordination with the respective departments and plan promotions to drive traffic and revenue.
* Ensure all collaterals, advertising and press releases are printed and issued in time to secure coverage.
Strategic Partnerships
* Identify and establish strategic partnerships with premium fitness centres, exclusive members' clubs, and cultural venues to enhance the guest experience, compensating for the absence of in-house wellness and meeting facilities.
* Develop co-operations with luxury high-end brands for sales and marketing of rooms and non-rooms resulting in hotel recognition and guest satisfaction.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Right to work in the UK;
* Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role within a luxury property (pre-opening experience is highly desirable);
* Highly passionate about Marketing, Sales and business growth;
* A self-starter who is creative, highly driven and results-orientated and has the ability to be proactive and reactive to both anticipated and sudden changes;
* Strong work ethic, agility, and clarity of thought, with the ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines under pressure, despite interruptions;
* Sense of humour and capacity to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation;
* Willingness to have a flexible working pattern to fit in with the needs of the business.
