Job Title: Warehouse Operator
Location: Witham
Salary: £27,540 - £33,542 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:15pm (39 or 47.5 hours per week)
Prime Appointments are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a renowned British Manufacturing and Production company based in Witham. This is a great permanent opportunity for someone with experience in a warehouse and logistics environment who is looking to develop their skills and grow within a well‑established organisation.
Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operator
* Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and practices within the logistics area.
* Ensure stock movements are managed in accordance with company and industry standards.
* Ensure technical procedures are up to date, understood, and followed.
* Perform and record product tests as required.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene at all times.
* Monitor safe working practices within the team and address any unsafe conditions or behaviours immediately.
The Ideal Warehouse Operator
* Previous experience in a warehouse and logistics environment.
* A positive and cooperative attitude towards colleagues and other departments.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to think strategically and work in a cost‑efficient manner.
Salary & Hours
* £27,540 - £33,542 per annum
* Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:15pm
* Option to work either 39 hours or 47.5 hours per week
