To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
* Experience in a management capacity in a fast-paced HR Co-ordinator/advisory role, operating to strict deadlines and handling conflicting priorities.
* Ability to travel across offices. These include London, Colchester, Maidenhead and Maidstone.
* Professional services experience (desirable but not essential).
* Willingness to ‘muck in’, assist as necessary and carry out routine tasks when required.
* CIPD level 5 qualified
* Ability to work on your own as well as a team.
* The ability to handle a heavy workload with minimal supervision.
* Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to intermediate level, for the production of letters, spreadsheets and organisation charts.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
* In the context of the firm’s Business Plan, contribute to the preparation of the HR strategy to support continuous development in the areas of Resourcing, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development and Employee Relations.
* Attend and contribute to HR planning/review meetings.
* Take direction on projects and priorities from the Senior HR Manager which may vary from time to time ensuring that work is undertaken as delegated to ensure that the agreed HR Plan is delivered to the agreed timings and within agreed resources.
* Proactively manage, monitor and review processes in relation to HR practices and recommend courses of action.
* Meet with Engagement Partners and People Operations Partners at designated offices regularly to provide HR update/input of operational nature.
* Prepare and present HR reports to Head of HR Operations for collation/dissemination to Engagement Partners by Head of HR Operations and prepare other relevant management information as required.
* Keep the Engagement Partners and Managers up-to-date on new employment legislation and issues, advising on applicability, implications for current HR policies and procedures and implementation of any changes.
* Keep abreast of good practice and developments in the field of HR and contribute to the development of the firm’s policies and practices in line with these.
* Keep Engagement Partners updated with any proposed changes and support firm-wide communication of any updates or new HR Policies and Procedures as appropriate.
* Provide consistent advice and support to ensure that all HR Policies and Procedures are understood and adhered to.
* Consult with staff when necessary.
