Since its inception, Shiko Group has demonstrated consistent growth and strategic expansion, now operating eight flagship venues across Manchester and Leeds — including Side Street, Courts Club, The Lawn Club, The Dome, The Stables, and Foley’s in Manchester, as well as Fearns and The Canary in Leeds.
Committed to delivering unique venues and exceptional experiences, Shiko Group maintains a dedicated Sales and Marketing team of 10 professionals, with plans for further expansion in alignment with upcoming venue launches.
Role Overview
The core focus is to lead on campaign management for select venues across the Shiko portfolio. The Marketing Communications Manager will focus on traditional marketing (print, OOH, events, sponsorships, partnerships) as well as overseeing our digital efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaign Management:
* Plan and implement multi-channel marketing campaign activity that aligns with Shiko’s overall commercial goals. Campaigns must drive brand awareness, consumer engagement and/or provide a return on investment.
* Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies and stakeholders to create impactful content for venues across our portfolio.
* Analyse campaign performance metrics and optimise marketing efforts to maximize engagement, brand awareness, and ROI.
* Drive and support new venue launches ensuring maximum visibility pre and post-launch.
Brand Strategy and Execution:
* Develop and execute brand activity that aligns with business goals ensuring brand consistency across all channels, including digital, print, and in-person touchpoints.
* Plan, execute and promote sponsorship and partnership events and activations, measuring success by gathering key data.
Communications and Public Relations:
* Communicating our offerings with internal teams, key stakeholders, partners, and the hyper-local market.
* Manage relationships with external PR partners to enhance brand visibility. Oversee PR activity, press releases, and media outreach, ensuring effective communication of brand initiatives.
Market Research & Performance Analysis:
* Conduct market research to analyse key industry trends, customer behaviours, and competitor activities, using insights to refine marketing strategies and improve performance.
* Develop reports on marketing and communications metrics for leadership review.
What We’re Looking For
* 3 years of experience in a brand or marketing role within branded hospitality, retail, or leisure.
* Strong background in campaign management
* Excellent communication skills
* Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* A self-starter with a hands-on approach, comfortable in a growing business.

Primary Location: Manchester - M3 4BN
Other locations: Work from home 1 day per week. Work from Leeds 1/2 days PCM.

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 + Bonus Scheme
