About the Role
This is a senior position with direct reports. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships and fostering relationships with key stakeholders within the healthcare industry. Responsibilities include identifying and cultivating business opportunities, managing a small team, and enhancing the hospital's market presence. The role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the UK healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen business relationships and drive revenue growth.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry research, and partnership development.
* Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, insurers, and corporate clients.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for business expansion and differentiation.
* Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to senior management and external partners.
* Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field.
* Proven experience in a business development or relationship management role within healthcare, preferably in a hospital or healthcare services setting.
* Strong understanding of UK healthcare policies, regulations, and market dynamics.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Track record of achieving business targets and building successful partnerships.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Willingness to travel.
