Responsibilities
Primarily carry out electrical work in domestic properties, with occasional tasks in commercial buildings. Tasks include upgrades, repairs to consumer units, rewiring, fault finding and emergency lighting. Perform periodic inspections, testing and complete necessary certifications in line with IEE Wiring Regulations. Conduct PAT testing for electrical equipment if qualified. Work under safety regulations (Electrically At Work Regulations 1989, BS 7671) and ensure high‑quality work, keeping properties clean and tidy. Collaborate with schedulers, supervisors, compliance teams and customers to meet operational targets and KPIs. Complete timely and accurate paperwork and data transfer. Subject to a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
Essential Criteria
* Qualified to L3 Electrical (NVQ, SVQ, C&G L3, AM2, 18th edition amendment 2)
* Hold a valid driving licence
* Good understanding of health and safety
Additional Qualifications
Electrical C&G 2391 or equivalent, and a Level 2 trade qualification in an additional relevant trade. Strong organisational skills, a positive attitude toward health and safety, good communication skills and ability to use a tablet or smartphone for activity recording.
