I am partnered with an InsurTech start-up at a time of growth due to success. My client is looking for an up-and-coming engineer - someone with a couple of years of real-world experience who’s ready to take ownership of their work and grow within a supportive, pragmatic team.
Most of your time will be spent handling change requests and feature work for clients: everything from small bugfixes to full features in our underwriting platform. You’ll be trusted to take problems, understand them, then build, test and deploy solutions - with the backing of a senior team that wants you to learn and succeed.

What You’ll Do
* Extend and improve our underwriting platform for new and existing clients
* Work across the stack - from frontend (React) to backend (Go / Postgres)
* Write and test code with confidence, delivering real value iteratively
* Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and QA to deliver features
* Help maintain UI and UX consistency across our products
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production systems
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
* Able to communicate clearly, ask for help when stuck, and collaborate with the wider team
* Curious, motivated, and proactive - someone who picks up tasks and sees them through
* 1-3 years of professional software development experience
* Comfortable working as a full-stack developer, covering frontend, backend and databases
* Practical experience with React
* Experience with other
* Professional experience with Golang
* OR interested in learning Golang with experience in one or more of:
* Node.js / TypeScript
* Python
* C#
* Java
* Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and CRUD-style backend developmentF
* Familiar with Git with a good understanding of source control
