We are seeking a
detail-oriented
and
proactive
ERP Finance Data Analyst
to provide part-time temporary support to the Finance team during the implementation of our new ERP system. This is a fixed-term contract.
About the Role
This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data as it is prepared for migration. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance colleagues and project teams to carry out data cleansing, data entry, and validation tasks to support a smooth and successful ERP transition.
Key Responsibilities
* Review, clean, and standardise financial data to ensure accuracy and readiness for system migration.
* Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, missing information, and anomalies across datasets.
* Work with Finance team members to resolve data discrepancies and update records where required.
* Ensure data complies with agreed formats, naming conventions, and project standards.
* Input and update data into existing systems, ready for migration.
* Provide general administrative support where required.
Candidate profile:
* Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data entry and data checking.
* Good working knowledge of Excel (e.g., basic formulas, filters, sorting, lookups).
* Comfortable working with large datasets and repetitive tasks.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Prior experience in system or ERP implementation projects preferred.
* AAT qualified or PQ ACCA/CIMA/ACA preferred.
* Proficient user of finance software.
* Able to work under own initiative in a busy environment.
* Able to communicate effectively and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
* Enthusiastic, confident and friendly personality.
* A good team player and a 'can do' attitude.
* Must be within 45 minutes commute of Broadstairs, Kent CT10
