This role is an exciting opportunity to provide excellent administrative support to our busy tax teams. Being highly organised and enthusiastic, you will proactively undertake administrative duties to assist the busy tax teams. This support will help to free up the time of fee-earning staff who are focused on client facing work. Administrative assistance for the tax teams, including:
Drafting and editing reports including graphs and diagrams
Running WIP reports and analysis
Communicating with HMRC online and via phone
Client administration, including typing and formatting of:
Tax systems data management (Alphatax/CCH):
New client data entry
E-filing of tax returns
iXBRL accounts tagging
Tax training administration:
Creating, monitoring, and tracking attendance on tax training courses on the firm’s learning management system
Liaising with both internal and external training providers to facilitate tax training,
Cultivating employee engagement for the tax training function,
Assisting with the operation and organisation of both face to face and virtual tax training sessions, and
Willingness and ability to help others
Excellent telephone manner
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet
Training will be provided for departmental packages
