SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary) - Full Time - St Helens

A secondary school in St Helens is looking for a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, making a real difference every day.
The Role:
Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) across various subjects
Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom
Helping students with additional needs stay engaged, focused, and confident in their learning
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Promoting inclusion, independence, and personal growth
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with SEN students (particularly Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or MLD)
Is patient, calm, and enthusiastic
Can follow individual learning and behaviour plans
Communicates clearly with both students and staff
Is flexible and able to adapt to different needs throughout the school day
Holds a valid Enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply for one)
Qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred
Experience in a secondary school or SEN setting is highly desirable
