Job Title: Multi Skilled Construction Tutor (Trainee or Qualified) Location: Newmarket - Centre based Salary: up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience) Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension more Type: Full Time, Permanent Duties: Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Construction, within a classroom-based environment. Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews. Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.Criteria: Must hold a recognised qualification within a Construction trade. Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction (e.g. Plastering, Paint, Brickwork). Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents. Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
