The job
We are looking for qualified Pharmacy Dispensers and technicians interested in joining a friendly, local GP surgery.
You will be working with our in-house Primary Care Pharmacists and GPs to support the delivery of the highest quality primary care service to our patients.

Location: Opportunities are available in locations across South East London:
Hours: approx. 30 hours per week
Salary: £13-£15 per hour (depending on experience/qualification). Overtime paid if required.
Key Responsibilities
Our Pharmacy Dispensers and Technicians are responsible for helping to manage the prescriptions and medication requirements of our growing patient population.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Checking and processing prescription requests
* Working with in-house Pharmacists & GPs to deal with medication related queries.
* Following Practice procedures to identify patients due for reviews and book them with appropriate clinicians.
* Working with the Nursing team to help manage supply & stock levels of emergency drugs and other clinical supplies in the practice
* Liaising with local community pharmacies to address prescription related issues.
* Helping the Clinical team with Audits, Medicines Optimisation, and ad-hoc health promotion
Pharmacy Dispensers and Technicians report to the group Lead Pharmacist.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
About you
The right candidate will demonstrate a strong eye for detail and excellent organisational skills, as well as being a good communicator who can work well in a team and a fast learner.
Minimum requirements: Pharmacy Dispenser qualification or least 1-year experience in community pharmacy or hospital.
