The Transplant Unit at MFT is the North West’s only cardiopulmonary failure, transplantation and ventricular support device program.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic nurse to develop skills to manage our patient’s complex & highly specialist needs. We are an outpatient area caring for transplant patients, this role does include lab work for bronchoscopies and biopsies. The role will suit an experienced nurse who is eager to expand and progress their nursing practice.

Key responsibilities

* Provide nursing care to transplant patients in an outpatient setting, including lab work for bronchoscopies and biopsies.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high standards of care for patients with complex and highly specialist needs.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in educational programs and career pathways offered by MFT.
* Contribute to research, quality improvement, and project work alongside physicians and other professionals.
