We are seeking a committed and proactive Skills Employment Advisor to join our Gloucester team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting learners to progress into meaningful employment and ensuring employers find candidates that meet their needs.
Salary: £26,500 per annum | Hours: 40 per week, Monday–Friday | Location: Elmbridge Court, Gloucester (office-based role)
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with learners and employers.
* Assess learners’ skills, experience, and career aspirations to identify suitable employment opportunities.
* Match candidates to vacancies and work placements aligned with their goals.
* Provide guidance, motivation, and ongoing support to ensure positive outcomes.
* Ensure all work complies with contractual, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
To be Successful
We are looking for a customer-focused, target-driven individual who is motivated by helping others succeed.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Experience in a performance-driven environment.
* Strong organisational skills, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
* Competence in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
Desirable Experience
* Working within employability, skills, or recruitment sectors.
* Providing advice, guidance, or mentoring to job seekers or learners.
* A full driving licence.
