Year 5 Primary Teacher – Full Time (September 2026 Start)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join a large and supportive mainstream Primary School from September 2026, taking on full classroom responsibility within a Year 5 class for the full academic year.
The school benefits from a collaborative approach to planning, where responsibilities are shared across the year group, creating a supportive and well-structured teaching environment.
Position Details:

* Contract: Full time, full academic year
* Key Stage: Year 5 (KS2)
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (UK QTS)
* Confidence teaching Key Stage 2 pupils
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* A commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
Suitable for:
* Experienced teachers
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) – school have capacity to support ECT induction.
Role Responsibilities:
* Full classroom teaching responsibility within a Year 5 class
* Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons (with shared planning across the team)
* Supporting pupil progress and attainment
* Contributing to the wider school community
Recruitment Process:

o A 30-minute lesson observation
o A 30-minute interview with the Head Teacher
