About the Role
Are you ready to take the lead? As our Depot Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and fostering a vibrant team culture. Your mission will be to ensure the highest standards of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) while optimizing the availability and utilization of our rental assets. You’ll be the hands-on leader who inspires and motivates your team to achieve both safety and operational goals.
Your Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the depot office and administration teams, including hire desk, contracts administration, and logistics.
* Engage in workshop management and engineer oversight.
* Maintain accurate systems and records with a focus on data entry precision.
* Support and mentor office and administration teams through regular sessions.
* Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures, particularly in EHS.
* Conduct regular team meetings and participate in weekly depot discussions.
* Champion exceptional customer service and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate closely with the wider depot network, service department, and sales teams.
* Address issues promptly and maintain open communication for consistent problem resolution.
* Manage invoice dispute logs and ensure timely query resolution.
* Adhere to all Quality, Environmental Health, and Safety directives.

What We’re Looking For
* Hands-on experience in a similar role, preferably in the service or rental industry.
* Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of 30+ people.
* A strong commitment to HSE and operational excellence.
* Organized and proactive approach to process improvement.
* Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and lead effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Confidence and adaptability to embrace change and innovation.
