The Role: Key Responsibilities As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be crucial in helping a specific student access the curriculum, achieve their learning goals, and maintain their emotional stability. Individualised Support: Provide dedicated one-to-one support, primarily in KS3 /4 with a pupil on a 1:1 basis. Emotional & Mental Health Support: Offer consistent emotional check-ins, build a positive rapport, and use calming strategies to manage anxiety or distress.
