For HOYER Group at location Huddersfield, we are looking for an Head of Operations/Country Manager (UK) who will work with us to shape the future of logistics.
Leading a team of 50+ people, responsible for overseeing regional business activities within the UK, Including intermodal/road operations, customer service, fleet management, and safety, health, environment, local (& group-) compliance and quality (SHEQ) standards.
Ensure operational performance and excellence through defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitoring safety performance, and managing third-party performance (e.g., Work together with Business Partners like Global Sales, Finance, Operations & Human Resources in order to achieve the overall targets of the HOYER Group.
To support new business generation through close collaboration with and driving of the Sales & BD functions.
Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimise end-to-end supply chain processes, and deliver sustainable performance enhancements.
Skilled in managing complex stakeholder networks, including clients, third-party providers, and internal teams, to ensure service excellence and long-term partnerships.
