PE Global is currently recruiting for a Planning and Resource Assistant for a leading multi-national oilfield services client based in Aberdeen.
This is an initial 9 months contract position paying £15.00ph PAYE or £19.47ph Umbrella.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
* Responsible for providing administrative support to Resource Coordinators for Assets, M&S and/or Products.
* Identifies possible future resource needs based on upcoming jobs reflected in the business systems, aggregates demand and optimizes material requirements planning to meet the business needs while minimizing inventory levels.
* Track job start/end dates in the planning system of record (FDP, IBP) to coordinate scheduling and mobilization to/from and between rigs and service delivery locations.
* Support data entry to business systems, communicate and initiate relevant notifications to all involved parties.
* Liaise with Resource Coordinators and other functions to facilitate the equipment movements and monitor lead time.
* Perform administrative tasks related to assets, products, M&S, rentals, and transports, including physical and transactional actions into the appropriate business systems (non-exhaustive list: iBase requests, LCT, FLM, ESM, CMMS).
* Maintain permits for equipment, transportation of dangerous goods paperwork, and insurance paperwork.
* Support Resource Coordinator on any asset activities and completion of fixed asset reconciliation tasks.
Education/Experience
* Previous experience as Resource Administrator, Planning Admin or similar position.
* Great attention to details.
* Confident communication skills.
* SAP user experience or similar system experience would be highly advantageous.
