Qualified dental nurse
Due to our nurse going travelling we are looking for a new nurse to join our team. We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic qualified dental nurse, to join our amazing team here at Brixham Dental practice.
Our practice is a bespoke, family run, independent private practice, that is renowned for providing exceptional care, using the latest dental technology and aesthetic treatments.
Working hours:
Monday 08.30am – 17.30pm
Tuesday 08.30am – 17.30pm
Wednesday 08.30am – 17.30pm
Thursday 08.30am pm
Friday 08.30am pm
Late night Monday and Thursday appointments available until 7pm- staff are rota'd to 1 per week.

Key Responsibilities
* To be GDC registered
* To be friendly
* The ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.
* Assist the dentist/hygienist in all clinical procedures, providing chairside assistance. To include:
* To be computer literate
* Prepare the surgery for procedures.
* Process and store digital radiographs according to practice policy.
* At the end of the surgical day, ensure the surgery is closed down in line with practice procedures and policies.
* Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene and cross infection control, according to the latest guidelines and following practice procedures and policies.
* Ensure that all the relevant paperwork is completed promptly and accurately and that all patient records are updated and maintained, according to practice procedures both personally and across all the nursing team.
* Provide excellent customer care to all our patients, to include:
* Building trust and caring relationships with all patients, always maintaining patient confidentiality.
* Ensure a smooth running of the central sterilization room, completing the jobs list located in the file in the decontamination room, cleaning instruments according to the current HTM guidelines.
* To maintain a high standard of cleanliness/tidiness we require you to do some light cleaning duties as needed in the practice.
* Keep CPD requirement and PDP up to date.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Salary: Qualified nurse 3 years+ or additional qualification, £15.00 per hour, qualified 1-2 years £14.50 per hour. Experienced hourly rate can be discussed.
Salary annually £30,160-£31,200.00 Depending on experience
