Job Title: CCTV Drainage Surveyor

Salary: £38,285 per annum

Overview:
We're looking for a skilled CCTV Drainage Surveyor to carry out thorough inspections of underground drainage systems using CCTV equipment. This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring technical expertise, accuracy in reporting, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
You'll be responsible for surveying drains to identify defects or blockages, producing accurate condition reports, and working alongside engineers and contractors to support drainage repair and maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct CCTV surveys of drainage systems using crawler and push-rod cameras
* Identify blockages, root ingress, structural defects, and other drainage-related issues
* Produce detailed, clear condition reports using WinCan or iTouch software
* Liaise with site teams to provide feedback and recommendations
* Operate jetting equipment where needed to assist with survey preparation
* Maintain survey equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness
* Document findings and complete reports to a professional standard
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, including confined space protocols and PPE use
Requirements:
* Previous experience in CCTV drainage surveying or similar role
* Competence using CCTV camera systems and survey software
* Knowledge of drainage systems and inspection standards
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* HPWJ and confined space certificates are desirable (training can be provided)
* Ability to work independently and manage workloads across multiple sites
* Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting skills
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
