Job Description
1. Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, and equipment
2. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment
3. Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams and schematics
4. Repair and replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, storage batteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and varied electrical fixtures including DC systems.
5. Install, maintain and repair electrical, electromechanical and electronic parts of machinery and equipment
6. Perform repair and preventive maintenance on plant and shop electrical systems and equipment
7. Install improvements and major upgrades to electrical plant and equipment
Qualifications
8. Time served electrician
9. 17th / 18th Edition
10. Extensive knowledge of fault finding
11. Extensive experience of working on DC systems
12. Working at Height training
13. Use of MEWP training
14. Excellent problem-solving skills
15. Good communication skills
