An Engagement Officer is responsible for raising awareness and promotion of the Reed in Partnership programmes within the community. This is done by utilising referral opportunities, attending events and partnering with local organisations to directly connect with individuals who may be interested and could benefit from our services. Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Business Development & Outreach Engagement Officers identify stakeholder organisations and opportunities so that Reed in Partnership can achieve participants identified targets as outlined in the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and expected by the funders. Customer Service & Relationship Management Engagement Officers develop relationships with key stakeholders and maintain regular communication with partner organisations to ensure that business outcomes are maximised through access to a wider referral partner network. Service Delivery & Recovery Engagement Officers provide operations teams with sufficient information so that escalated complaints can be prevented and service excellence can be achieved in the learner or member’s progression journey. Service & Support Engagement Officers review partner relationships periodically to ensure support is managed effectively and meeting the contractual obligations and retention levels. Maintains effective records of Stakeholder Engagement and referrals generated. Participant Engagement Engagement officers, where needed, will plan for appointments with Participants to ensure effective use of time, rapport building and an adequate two way exchange with the Participant. Engagement officers will identify participants goals, aspirations, first level barriers either directly or through internal and external contacts. What’s in it for you? Confident communicator, ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders. Experience working in the community, fundraising, sales or in a people facing role. Experience working in a targeted environment Interest in people and willing to go the extra mile. Willingness to travel locally. A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma. GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
