About this role
This role is based in Sheffield, Manchester, Ipswich and Cheltenham. It is an onsite office based role (5 days per week) Monday – Friday. The position requires the candidate to be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance before starting and to have lived in the UK for 10+ years.

The Networks Lead for Infrastructure Services will support the strategy of the Infrastructure Services Team to ensure a proactive, can-do, innovative behaviour is embedded in the culture of the services we provide to our customers and internal users. What you’ll be doing
1. Manage the implementation of network policies and procedures, including envisioning and shaping network policy.
2. Manage the design of network topologies, architectures, and services that solve complex business requirements.
3. Coordinate the collaboration efforts with other engineering teams to automate various processes, owning capacity planning and implementation.
4. Manage team members to deploy and operate infrastructure, including the implementation of the design and evolution of network architecture.
5. Manage and execute efforts to optimise network performance by growing and modifying existing networks, leveraging new and emerging technologies in support of application services.

What we’d like to see on your CV
* Ownership of network/platform operations and deliverables
* Cisco CCNP (R&S and/or Security) Certified or equivalent experience
* Design, test, delivery and/or support of Cisco Routing, Switching and Firewall platforms
* Experience as 2nd and 3rd line support of IP network solutions
