As a Paralegal at MBK Solicitors, you will play a key support role within our legal team, assisting solicitors and fee-earners across a diverse range of legal practice areas. You will help deliver high-quality legal services to clients in criminal law, housing and landlord/tenant matters, immigration, civil litigation and motoring offence cases, while ensuring excellent client care and adherence to regulatory standards.
Core Duties:
* Assist qualified solicitors in preparing case files, court bundles, legal forms and litigation documents across specialist practice areas.
* Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, legal letters and standard court documents.
* Support client communication, taking instructions, managing enquiries and helping maintain strong client relationships.
* Liaise with external parties including courts, agencies and expert witnesses.
* Maintain accurate electronic and physical case records in accordance with GDPR and SRA requirements.
* Aid in preparation and progression of cases in criminal, housing, immigration, civil and motoring matters offered by the firm.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and professional standards while delivering proactive, timely assistance.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
Experience:
* Previous paralegal, legal assistant or support experience is preferred, especially in a UK legal environment.
* Familiarity with UK court procedures and legal documentation.
Skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a small legal team and manage multiple case tasks simultaneously.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
Qualifications:
* Law degree (LLB), Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or equivalent legal qualification preferred.
* Paralegal accreditation (e.g., CILEX or equivalent) is an advantage.

* Salary: £32,000 - £33,500 per annum
* Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday
