Pay range: £13.60 per hour.


Job Title

Test Centre Associate


Responsibilities

* Invigilate exams and ensure the efficient delivery of tests to candidates.
* Adhere to DVSA guidelines and Reed in Partnership policies.
* Check candidates' ID documents and book them in on the system.
* Maintain the integrity and security of tests.
* Supervise and invigilate tests.
* Explain the test process to candidates and respond to queries.
* Review tests and test centre schedules.
* Perform daily opening and closing procedures.
* Ensure the test centre meets candidate needs in line with the Equality Act.
* Handle and report incidents that could impact candidate testing.


Work Schedule

Flexible pattern (part‑time or occasional shifts) with potential for additional hours.

* Mornings: 08:30am – 01pm / 02pm
* Afternoons: 12:30pm – 05:30pm / 06:30pm
* Full day: 08:30am – 05:30pm / 06:30pm
* Evenings: 04:30pm – 08:30pm / 09:30pm
* Afternoon & evenings: 12pm / 01pm – 08:30pm / 09:30pm

The Bury St Edmunds Theory Test Centre usually opens 2–3 days per week, mainly Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with occasional Saturday openings. Candidates must be flexible to work across all operating days, evenings and weekends.

* A full UK driving licence (driving not required for all locations).
