Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive computing lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Develop a comprehensive curriculum that equips students with both the theoretical and practical aspects of computing, including programming, digital literacy, and cybersecurity.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independent learning and encourages curiosity in the digital world.
* Stay current with emerging computing technologies, integrating innovative tools and platforms into the curriculum.
* Collaborate with the department to share best practices and contribute to the development of the computing curriculum.
* Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to ensure students' progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
* A formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Previous experience teaching computing at KS3, KS4, and KS5 is desirable.
* Strong understanding of computer science principles, digital literacy, and e-safety.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students of all abilities.
