My client is a large global bank and they are looking to hire a seasoned and experienced Lawyer to focus UK prudential regulatory work.
This will work alongside another very experienced lawyer and report to the MD.
The role will cover both advisory and transactional work and will support on:
* Prudential reporting & disclosures
* Regulatory capital & liquidity rules
* Operational continuity & resilience
* Recovery, resolution & resolvability
I would say the regulatory capital and liquidity rule knowledge is the most important of them.
Backgrounds they would consider are either a regulatory Lawyer who has expert level knowledge of prudential regs or potentially a DCM lawyer who can show a very strong understanding of the prudential landscape
Private practice or in house is fine with a minimum of 10 years PQE.
You won't find a team that is more at the centre of what is happening in the bank and this role will see you work closely with some of the most senior stakeholders including the Group GC.
Please get in touch ASAP for details or submit your CV for consideration
