Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: London
Employment Type: Contract 6 months
Pay: £375 per days inside IR35
Role Overview:
A Project Manager in the construction space with elements of procurement and category management. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they meet the company’s quality standards, timeline, and budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget.
Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members.
Procure and budget for construction projects.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and changes.
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques; report and escalate issues as necessary.
Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with client expectations.
Track project expenditures and ensure adherence to the budget, making adjustments as necessary.
After project completion, conduct post-mortems to identify lessons learned and areas for process improvement.
Travel to UK sites when required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in Construction.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Exceptional leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
