Care Assistant responsibilities:
Being a Home Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.
Duties can include:
* Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities (for example clothing selection, hobbies and crafts.)
* Providing emotional support and companionship
* Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as grooming, dressing, and bathing
* Supporting clients with mobility
* Helping with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication reminders
* Running errands such as food shopping and collecting prescriptions
* Performing light house keeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms/kitchens, washing and ironing taking out rubbish, caring for house plants etc.)
* Each client visit will last no less than 1 hour.
Qualifications
Previous social care isn't vital but full right to work in the UK and access to your own vehicle is essential. We understand a work life balance is key to a great working environment, so we offer a range of shifts timings throughout mornings, evenings and weekends suitable to for all lifestyles. Night shifts and Live In Carer opportunities also available.
