Overview
Behaviour Mentor – Location: Sefton. Start Date: September. Position: Full-time, Long-term. Randstad Education is seeking a highly professional and resilient Behaviour Mentor to provide dedicated support to students in a Sefton school. This full-time, long-term position requires an individual with a proven ability to manage and guide students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will work closely with students aged 11–16, both individually and in small groups. The primary focus of this role is to provide consistent behavioural support, helping students to navigate challenges and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Providing consistent behavioural support in both classroom and non-classroom environments.
* Facilitating student re-engagement with their educational journey.
* Assisting with academic support and curriculum catch-up as required.
* Maintaining detailed and accurate records of student progress and behavioural patterns.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 6 months of professional experience within a UK school setting.
* A valid Enhanced DBS check is required, or the applicant must be prepared for one immediately.
* Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK.
* Availability for full-time work (8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday).
Compensation and Benefits
* Salary: A competitive daily rate of GBP 90–95, based on experience.
